Net proceeds to benefit the Michael Phelps Foundation IM Program

The Nubble Light House Swim is an approximately 2.5 mile open-ocean swim in York, Maine. Swimmers will start at Long Sands Beach near the bath house, continue through “the gut” between Cape Neddick and the Island on which Nubble Lighthouse stands and finish their swim at Short Sands Beach.

This is a swim for swimmers experienced in open ocean swims and cold water. Swimmers must attest that they can swim 1 mile in open water in 35 minutes or less. Personal swim buoys must be worn by all swimmers. Wetsuits are required unless an exception is obtained from the Event Director.
Swimmers are encouraged to raise funds beyond their swim registration. All net proceeds will benefit the Michael Phelps Foundation - IM (learn to swim) program. To find out more about the Phelps Foundation IM program, click the button below.
Donations to the Nubble Lighthouse Swim can be made on the GoMOWSA Donations page. To donate in honor of a swimmer, support person or other volunteer, add their name in the checkout process.
